I think I may have picked the wrong profession….or maybe not. I would so rather be OUTSIDE doing anything other than sitting at a desk for 9 to sometimes 14 hours a day – it just doesn’t drive me anymore.
I often wonder what life would have been like if I worked in the Forestry field right out of college….oh well, my current profession has allowed me to do some amazing things, so for that I am grateful!
Thanks Word Press for the Challenge near and dear to my heart!
The things I enjoy outside are many…..can’t think of anything to leave out except downhill skiing, only because it scares the crap out of me….
Here Goes……
Photographin’ interesting landscapes! – Guadaloupe River, Boerne, Texas
Walkin’ the dog at the dog park – they can be pretty vast in Colorado!
Campin’! Backpackin’ included….I think I could live in a tent. Boulder, Colorado
Hangin’ in the park by my house….
Hikin’ in the mountains….any mountains….Dolomites, Italy.
Explorin’ alleyways (photo by Todd – edited by me) – Venice, Italy
Hangin’ with friends on a river trip – Grand Canyon, Arizona
Kayakin’ anytime one is within reach – Seward, Alaska
Hikin’ can be through ANY terrain – Superstition Mountains, Arizona
Photographin’ wildlife in any form – beautiful or not! Bearded Pig – Borneo
Snorkelin’ or divin’ in the sea – Nemo!! Borneo
Stand Up Paddle Boardin’ – Boulder, Colorado
Simply walkin’ on the beach! Tulum, México
Or trail runnin’ in the mountains! Vail, Colorado
Yep, the outdoors and exploring new places bring so much joy to life!
Viva La Life Bus!!
Totally agree with you! Outside is better (as long as bug spray is an option, lol)!
Yes, Bug spray is a must!
A marvelous selection of photos! I particularly liked the wonderful trees in the first photo and the photo of the bearded pig… 🙂
Thanks! That bearded pig is cool huh? He walked right by me on a sidewalk…kind of freaked me out for a sec! He was one of my favorites in Borneo! Thanks for stopping by!
As always PF, your photos are amazing 🙂 So glad you’re on the Bus with me exploring our world and adventuring all along the way. XOXO
Heck ya! I wouldn’t do it without ya!
Ahhh, yes – me, too! I’ll trade you some downhill skiing (which I love) for the diving (which would scare the —- out of me)!
Ha! Yes, it takes a little getting used to for sure! I tried to take a ski lesson once and had a panic attack and cried. lol. Lexi made me go down the mountain twice. The second time was a little better, but I didn’t leave screaming for more!
LOL!! We need to go again on a blue sky day 🙂
NEVER! LOL
I hear you Pam about being outside. We’ve been fortunate that we’ve had a mild winter here in Southern Utah and I’ve been able to go mountain biking a lot. Wasn’t expecting to. Great photos!
Thanks! I figured you of all people could relate!
Me too I love nature and being outside perks me up!
Trying to figure out what to do today here in Colorado! I see a hike in my future!
Great photos! I often wonder what on earth I’m doing working in an office. Still it pays for all the holidays/trips!
Yes, our day jobs pay for the fun stuff for sure!!
Yes … we call work the Golden Handcuffs. But at least it gives us the opportunity to explore the world 🙂
I would not want to meet a bearded pig in the forest that’s for sure!
I moved VERY slowly. Lol.
Oh my god, I envy you for not having shot these pictures. Amazing.
My response to the theme: https://satyaanveshan.wordpress.com/2018/03/17/id-rather-be-that-wanderer/
thank you!
I’m making note of all these places! Love the photos Pam!
I could see you enjoying all of them too!
Outside is better! And I think that all of us wonder what life would have been like if…
I don’t know what kind of job you do, but if it allowed you to do all these amazing things, then it cannot be so bad! And if it really is so bad, then we can change it at any moment of our life!
You are absolutely right! It has been pretty dang good for providing for my travel adventures! I plan on sticking with my current job for the next 3 to 4 years and then semi-retire! I just need to slog through it until then! Thanks for jumping on the bus! We appreciate you!
It’s a good plan! Enjoy life Pam 💛
You too girl!!
The bearded boar from Borneo is unusua!
He was one of my faves!
thanks!
